Framework 11th Gen RTC modification repair

Framework makes a pretty nice machine but they are very new. So of course they have flaws that need to be worked out.

If you have an 11th Gen intel based Framework machine you may have issues with the RTC (Real Time Clock) battery. The design uses your RTC battery to keep the clock running whenever you are not connected to wall power and the machine is off/sleeping. This allows the small RTC battery to fully discharge quickly. A dead RTC battery may prevent you from turning on the machine. Even if you have main battery power. There is a modification, given by Framework, to keep the RTC running from the main battery. So you only use the little button cell battery when there is no charger and no battery power.
